Hard-fought draw for Ladies Seconds
This week the Ladies 2nds took on Spalding Ladies who are sitting one place above us in the league. We knew this would be a tough game, as Spalding are a very attacking team and we lost 5-0 at to them earlier in the season.

New astro turf pitch is on the cards…but hard work starts now
Following Magna Vitae’s commitment that a 3G pitch will not now replace the existing London Road astro turf, Louth Hockey Club is starting to look at various funding sources to contribute to the cost of replacing the 21 year old aging surface. It is likely to cost, depending on the scale of the replacement, up to £200,000.

Travelling to Skegness on a cold wet February afternoon is not the most enticing for a game of hockey, however we can't influence the weather and were soon on the pitch ready to play!!

Following great support from hockey players, the public and councillors, Magna Vitae have re-considered their proposal to replace the existing astro turf pitch with a 3G surface.
