Louth Ladies Firsts team wins league

It was a Great end to the Season as Louth ladies 1st team finish top of the table.
Thursday evening saw Louth ladies play a rescheduled match against Hull Hawks. With Louth already securing the top spot in the table Hull Hawks who were in 2nd position had a lot to play for. Hull started off with an early break and the 1st goal that showed us they were in it to win.
Louth then turned up the pace and fought back strong with several good attempts on goal saved by the Hull goalie who had a great game. We managed to pull back & went in to Half time with it all to play for at 3-3.
After a quick pep talk we came back and quickly went in to the lead. With strong mid field performances from Man of the match Sophie Brown who scored 2 of the goals and great defences skills from Cath Hills & V we won the game by a convincing score of 6-3. Other goal scorers were Mags, Lara, Sarah Tutty and Sarah Charnley , It was a great final game where everybody put in a fab performance.
